When talks about new media, we often refer it as the internet based new technology that been utilized by nowadays human being, such as smart phone, social media and so on. These new media dramatically changes the behaviors and lifestyle of human since their first appearance without been notice by us. Later on i will go through how new media changes public relation, advertising and also marketing.

The existence of new media make the process of PR easier to be conduct and simplify the whole process of R.A.C.E.
Research is easier, and can be conduct anytime at anywhere as long as there are mobile devices that can access to internet. Each company usually have their own website that make it easier for PR to gather information for their research.
Action are more interactive. Program planning involving new media such as social media and mobile devices can increase the interaction with the target audience.
Communication cost less and can archive more specific target audience. New media will often be choosen as one of media been use to deliver the message to targeted audience as there are not as expensive as the contemporary media.
Evaluation are more efficient. Feedback can be gain from new media such as keyword searching to know the respond of the public. Some will also drop their feedback on the website or social webpage of the company.

Advertising turns out to be more creative with the involving of new media. The interactivity of the audience and the advertisement are the biggest changes been influence by the new media. Thus create the atmosphere that the advertiser care about the needs and wants of the audience, which made them more willing to accept the message that the advertisement trying to send, or even take action such as gather the info of the product or want to buy the product. New media also provide virtual spaces such as Google AdWords that enable advertiser to buy the space and advertise the advertisement. What they do is that they will collect the user internet activity such as keyword been key on search engine that shown what the user interest on and match it with the type of advertisement so that the advertisement go to the right person.


New Media vs Marketing
New media had made it easier for marketing to do research on their target audience. They can hire an online survey company to do a survey for them online which they the  feedback are faster than doing survey on real life. Social media also can be fully utilized for market researching as they often can get a honest feedback from the consumer through social media. The company might also conduct a free survey on the social media to know better of what the consumer thinks.
