Managing Online Presence in the Digital World by Mr Azhan Rabi

Recently i been given the chance to attend a talk

by Mr Azhan Rabi regarding on how to "survive" on digital world

it was a fun and interactive talk that i learn many from

the picture showed how many people are on social networking

BTW do you know that if FB is consider as a country

it will be considered as the 3rd largest population country in the world

 with China & India in front and also followed by WhatsApp behind FB

Do you know that there is no secret between you and GOOGLE?

he know what you googled, who do you emailed, your username & password etc

all of this cannot be hidden from GOOGLE as long as you used it service

and YES it included the GOOGLE Chrome Web Browser

GOOGLE might be the one that know you best, not even your lover can beat him

Do you know that 82% of children are presence online before 2 years old

people love to upload pictures especially after they have a newborn baby

97% of people on the earth have at least one social media account

which 65% of them will login daily

Now do you get the message hidden?

each internet user are a digital asset for those website developer

by collecting our internet activity and analysis it to make it useful

for example get a clue on what we are interested in 

so that they can implement similar advertisement that might trigger you

 GOOGLE earn money by providing a virtual space of advertisement

and do noted that our opinion, thought that been share online are valuable

its a data that can help to improve and create a new idea

However we are not paid for all this

instead sometimes we even need to compromised a little 

so that the website developer can earn money through our internet activity

for example the annoying unskippable advertisement on youtube clip that force us to watch the ads

thus by letting them to gain revenue from our online existence

one most important issue should be concern which is

DATA PRIVACY

i believe that most of the people does have at least one e-banking service

if the server are not protected enough the hacker can easily hack all the money

and poof that is how the money disappear without been washed off by your wives

there is some steps that we can do as precaution to avoid this kind of scenario happen

clear the cookies and history of the computer everytime you use the computer

avoid from using computer other that your own to login to e-banking website

dont ever save our password and username on other computer than your own

etc etc etc

As new media is become avoidable and should be pay attention to

why not learn to be a smart internet user

fully utilize the function of social network which is obviously not just about keep in touch with friends

the power of social network are more powerful than you thought

and it will get stronger and stronger from time to time
